My Chemical Romance has reached an agreement to stop dressing dancers in outfits resembling the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders uniform during their ongoing residency at the Hollywood Bowl. Rolling Stone and Complete Music Update both reported that the rock band agreed to change the costumes to settle an active legal dispute. The decision follows a lawsuit filed by the cheerleading organisation over an onstage skit. [1][2]
The cheer team filed the lawsuit against the band in Texas. According to Rolling Stone and Complete Music Update, the legal action targeted a segment in the group's current Hollywood Bowl shows where dancers wearing royal blue and white cheerleader outfits took part in a mock firefight. As FTMQ Music reported earlier, Pro Silver Star Ltd. filed for a temporary restraining order on October 25, 2026, naming Live Nation alongside the band, after dancers wore the outfits during a performance on October 21, 2026. [1][2][7]
Separately, Loudwire reported that the group recently released a 20th anniversary edition of their 2006 album, The Black Parade. Some fans who purchased signed deluxe editions through the band's online store received rare, one-of-one artwork variants drawn by a band member. [3]
The performances are part of the Long Live The Black Parade concert tour celebrating the 2006 album. The tour began on July 11, 2025, in Seattle, and is scheduled to conclude on November 23, 2026, in Jakarta, Indonesia. [4]
