The owner of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders brand has taken legal action against rock band My Chemical Romance over stage costumes used during a concert. Consequence and Rolling Stone both report that Pro Silver Star Ltd. filed for a temporary restraining order and temporary injunction to stop the group from using the outfits. According to Dallas News, concert promoter Live Nation is also named in the legal action. [1][2][6]

The dispute centers on a performance at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. Rolling Stone reports that the concert took place on Wednesday, while Consequence specifies that the event occurred on October 21, 2026, as the first of five sold-out shows for the band's The Black Parade tour. During the song Teenagers, dancers appeared on stage wearing uniforms that spoofed and resembled those of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, according to Consequence and Rolling Stone. [1][2]

Legal filings accuse the performance of degrading the brand, according to reports by Consequence and The Needle Drop. Rolling Stone reports that the injunction specifically seeks to prevent dancers from wearing the Cowboys-inspired outfits during what it describes as a violent sequence accompanying the track. [1][2][3]

My Chemical Romance is an American rock band from New Jersey that formed in the 2000s. The current lineup includes lead vocalist Gerard Way, lead guitarist Ray Toro, rhythm guitarist Frank Iero, and bassist Mikey Way. [8]
