Kasabian announce 2027 tour dates for Australia and New Zealand

British rock band Kasabian have announced their 2027 Nothing Better Than This tour, featuring headline concerts and festival appearances across Australia and New Zealand. Rolling Stone Australia reported that the tour will begin on 24 February 2027 at the On the Banks festival in Brisbane, followed by a show at Electric Avenue festival in Christchurch on 26 February 2027. The band will then perform at Sydney's Hordern Pavilion on 2 March 2027, Palace Foreshore in Melbourne on 4 March 2027, and Perth HPC on 6 March 2027. [1]

The tour announcement follows the release of Kasabian's ninth studio album, Act III, which debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart in September 2026, according to Rolling Stone Australia. The record marked the group's eighth chart-topping album in the United Kingdom. [1]

Kasabian were formed in Leicester in 1997 by lead vocalist Tom Meighan, guitarist Sergio Pizzorno, guitarist Chris Karloff, and bassist Chris Edwards. Meighan left the group in July 2020, leading Pizzorno to step up as the band's full-time lead vocalist. [11]
