Metallica plays deep cut during Halloween show at Las Vegas Sphere residency

Heavy metal band Metallica performed the track Of Wolf and Man for the first time during their ongoing residency show at the Sphere in Las Vegas on October 31, 2026. Loudwire reported that the song comes from the band's 1991 self-titled album. During the Halloween performance, guitarist Kirk Hammett and bassist Robert Trujillo also incorporated the Addams Family theme into their usual duet section. [1]

Loudwire reported that the concert began with performances of Blackened, Fuel, and Leper Messiah before the band introduced the deep cut into the setlist. [1]

As FTMQ Music reported earlier, Metallica is playing unique setlists for every concert of the residency, which is scheduled to run through November 7, 2026. The band previously performed the 1996 single Until It Sleeps live at the venue on October 10, 2026, and released professionally shot footage from an October 1, 2026 performance. [5][6]
