Edinburgh band Daytime TV have announced their new studio album Rodeo and released the lead single Meditate. Outlets offer differing release dates for the record, with Contactmusic.com citing February 19, 2027, while Rocksound reports the album will arrive on February 17, 2027. [1][2][3][4][5][6]
The upcoming album is scheduled for release through Marshall Records, according to Rocksound. Clash Magazine reported that the record was created with producer Pete Hutchings. Contactmusic.com added that the group is supporting the project with a series of intimate UK live performances this month. [1][3][4]
According to Contactmusic.com and Clash Magazine, the new tracks mark a shift towards a more pop-oriented sound following a difficult period for the band. Frontman Will Irvine spent much of 2024 recovering from a severe autoimmune illness, an experience that Contactmusic.com and Rocksound report inspired a more uninhibited approach to writing without genre restrictions. The new record serves as the follow-up to the group's 2022 release, Nothing's On But Everyone's Watching, according to Rocksound. [3]
