Killswitch Engage vocalist Jesse Leach stated that he is open to releasing an EP or standalone singles rather than focusing on a full-length album, Blabbermouth.net reported on October 30, 2026. Speaking to Australia's Heavy outlet, Leach called the prospect of issuing more frequent music liberating for him at this point in his career. [1]

Leach explained that Killswitch Engage has put out enough full-length records to make alternative release schedules attractive. He noted that issuing shorter projects or individual songs would allow the group to share music with fans more frequently without the pressure of an entire record cycle. [1]

Leach co-founded the American metalcore group Killswitch Engage in 1999. He left the band in 2002 before rejoining in February 2012 after the departure of former vocalist Howard Jones. Leach also performs as the vocalist for the musical projects Times of Grace and The Weapon. [2]

The band has not yet announced an official release date or distribution plan for any upcoming EPs or singles. [1]
