American band DIIV released their new single Dare Me on October 28, 2026, ahead of their upcoming fifth studio album, ZIRP. Stereogum and Consequence both reported that the track is the fourth and final preview single released prior to the full album drop. Consequence reported that the album will be released on October 30, 2026, through Fantasy Recordings, while Stereogum reported that the record is officially out on Friday. [1][2]
The track blends the shoegaze sound of the band with electronic textures, according to Stereogum. A. G. Cook produced the new album, Stereogum reported. Prior to the release of Dare Me, the band previously shared the early album tracks The Fountain, Kid, and Trillions. [1]

In addition to the new music, DIIV announced that they will embark on a world tour in 2027, according to reports from Consequence and Live Music Blog. Consequence reported that the concert tour will span North America, Europe, Asia, and Oceania. [2][4]
