The new track incorporates South Asian tabla alongside Semones' blend of jazz guitar, bossa nova rhythms, chamber pop, and indie rock. In the lyrics, Semones professes her devotion to music itself. [1]

The single is the second track taken from her upcoming album Howl, which will be released on January 15, 2027. The project marks her first album release for the record labels Verve and Interscope, following the previous release of its title track. [1][3]
