Massachusetts rock group D-Tension and The Secrets have released their self-titled debut album, That Eric Alper reported on October 31, 2026. The record is led by the single Hate To See You Go. The debut project contains nine tracks that combine elements of rock, alternative rock, punk, and power pop. [1]
According to That Eric Alper, the formation of the group follows a stylistic shift by its leader. D-Tension built his original reputation as an international hip hop performer. Before transitioning into rock music, he toured alongside prominent rap artists including Ja Rule, as well as the late DMX and the late Biz Markie. [1]
Little Walter previously recorded a blues track titled Hate to See You Go, which was released by Checker Records in 1955. That song was adapted from You Do Not Love Me, which Bo Diddley had written and recorded one month earlier. [8]
The release adds to recent self-titled projects across the industry. As FTMQ Music reported earlier, British musician Mark William Lewis released a deluxe version of his self-titled album through A24 Music on October 23, 2026. [11]
