Frank Carter ejects male concertgoer from Sex Pistols show in Denver

Singer Frank Carter had a male audience member ejected from a Sex Pistols concert at the Ogden Theatre in Denver, Colorado, on October 9, 2026. Clash Magazine, NME, and Consequence all reported that the incident occurred after the man objected to a women-only mosh pit that Carter attempted to organize. [1][2][3]

According to Clash Magazine and NME, Carter was preparing to introduce the song No Feelings when the confrontation happened. Consequence reported that Carter yelled at the attendee from the stage, addressing claims that women could join the general pit at any time. Carter subsequently ordered the concertgoer to leave the venue. [1][2][3][7]

NME reported that Carter has been regularly establishing dedicated mosh pits for women during the current Sex Pistols tour across North America. NME and Men's Journal both noted that the singer later stated men who take offense at the practice are part of the problem. [1][2][4]

The band's original bassist Sid Vicious died in 1979 at the age of 21. The Sex Pistols are currently continuing their live performances on tour in North America. [1][9]
