Wu-Tang Clan to headline Detroit Lions Thanksgiving halftime show

Hip-hop group Wu-Tang Clan will headline the halftime show of the Detroit Lions game against the Chicago Bears on November 26, 2026. Consequence and the Detroit Lions reported that the event is being executive produced by Eminem and his manager Paul Rosenberg. Billboard, VICE, and The Needle Drop also reported the performance details. [1][3][4][5][6]

Eminem and Rosenberg are overseeing talent selection for the Lions game, which is powered by Verizon, according to Consequence and the Detroit Lions. Consequence noted that Rosenberg described the booking as exciting and unexpected. Last year, the executive producers selected Jack White for the Thanksgiving halftime slot, which included a surprise guest appearance by Eminem. [1][3]

Wu-Tang Clan was formed in Staten Island, New York City, in 1992 by members including RZA, GZA, Method Man, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Inspectah Deck, U-God, Masta Killa, Ol' Dirty Bastard, and Cappadonna. As FTMQ Music reported earlier, the group recently expanded their farewell tour alongside Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, playing amphitheater shows across North America. [9][10]

The National Football League has hosted games on Thanksgiving Day since 1920, with the Detroit Lions traditionally hosting a game since 1934. The tradition highlights high-profile halftime entertainment broadcasts to national audiences. [7][8]
