Brighton-based rock duo Royal Blood released their new single, Dead Company, on Warner Records. Metal Planet Music and The Hype Magazine both report that the single came out on October 24, 2026. Metal Planet Music reported that the track served as Jack Saunders's Hottest Record on BBC Radio 1 on the evening of its release. [1][8]
The single features a full-throttle sound and huge hooks, according to Metal Planet Music. Frontman Mike Kerr stated that the song captures how music can alter a person's body, mind, perception, and mood. An official music video for the track is scheduled for release shortly, Metal Planet Music added. [1]
The track sets the musical tone for the band's upcoming self-produced studio album, Metal Planet Music reported. The duo had previously announced the new album project in August 2026. [1]
Royal Blood formed in Worthing in 2011 and consists of frontman Mike Kerr and drummer Ben Thatcher. Kerr builds the duo's sound by using effects pedals and amplifiers to make his bass guitar sound like an electric guitar and bass simultaneously. The band signed with Warner Chappell Music in 2013 and previously released four studio albums between 2014 and 2023. [9]
