Miley Cyrus has experienced a historic fall on the Billboard chart with her new album, Bass Persuades. Variety, Entertainment Weekly, and the Daily Mail all reported on October 6, 2026, that the record suffered the biggest chart drop ever for an album in the week after debuting at number one. Cyrus previously established her career as a child actress starring as Miley Stewart on the Disney Channel television series Hannah Montana from 2006 to 2011. During that period, she achieved two number one soundtracks on the Billboard 200 chart. [13]
