The Beach Boys vocalist Mike Love returned to the stage on Saturday, October 11, 2026, for a concert at the PNC Pavilion in Cincinnati, Ohio. Consequence and Rolling Stone both reported that the performance marked the group's first public show since July, following a three-month hiatus caused by Love's undisclosed health issues. Love appeared frail, walked on stage with assistance, and remained seated throughout the performance. [1][2]

Before the music began, frequent collaborator John Stamos addressed the audience regarding the health of the 85-year-old singer. According to Rolling Stone, Stamos told the crowd that Love had been going through health issues and asked attendees to show their support. Consequence reported that Stamos appeared alongside his son Christian to inform the crowd of Love's presence prior to the performance. [1][2]

The concert forms part of the group's tour celebrating the 60th anniversary of their album Pet Sounds. According to Consequence, Love is the only remaining classic-era member of the band who is currently part of the active touring lineup. The Beach Boys were original formed in Hawthorne, California, in 1961 by brothers Brian, Dennis, and Carl Wilson alongside their cousin Mike Love and friend Al Jardine. [1][8]

The Cincinnati appearance follows several months of postponed and cancelled tour dates. Consequence and Rolling Stone both reported that the group had previously issued vague statements and made last-minute cancellations while Love dealt with his ongoing health struggles. [1][2]
