John Mayer expands 2027 Las Vegas Sphere residency to 21 dates

Musician John Mayer has added three new performance dates to his Live At Sphere residency in Las Vegas. Pollstar and JamBase both reported that Mayer added shows on June 9, June 11, and June 12, 2027. Citing overwhelming demand, the new dates bring the extended engagement to a total of 21 performances starting on April 8, 2027. [1][2]

According to JamBase, each concert in the residency will feature a three-part format consisting of solo, full-band, and John Mayer Trio performances. Mayer initially announced six April concerts before tripling the engagement to 18 shows and then extending the run through mid-June. Pollstar reported that an artist pre-sale powered by Seated begins on October 14, 2026, at 10 a.m. PT. [1][2]

Mayer released his debut extended play, Inside Wants Out, in 1999 through Aware Records, an imprint of Columbia Records, before releasing his studio albums Room for Squares in 2001 and Heavier Things in 2003. As FTMQ Music reported earlier, he recently contributed guitar to the track Moon So High on Remi Wolf's third studio album, Mud, released on Island Records. [13][16]

The additions to the Live At Sphere residency extend Mayer's concert commitments for 2027, with public ticketing and registration steps already underway for fans. [1][2]
