HEALTH release two new tracks for upcoming Street Fighter movie soundtrack

Los Angeles band HEALTH has released two new tracks titled Negative Edge and Brainrot for the upcoming Street Fighter soundtrack.

Los Angeles band HEALTH released two new tracks titled Negative Edge and Brainrot for the soundtrack of the upcoming Street Fighter movie on October 16, 2026. Stereogum, Lambgoat, and Theprp.com all reported the release of the two new singles. [1][5][6][8]

In a statement made to Bleeding Cool News, HEALTH said that the band members are lifelong players of Street Fighter and huge fans of songs written for movies. Bleeding Cool News and Stereogum reported that the group wanted to follow in the footsteps of famous movie tracks such as Men In Black and Streets Of Philadelphia. [1][7]

The new music follows the group's previous record, Conflict DLC, which was released last year. Stereogum reported that the band remains active with soundtrack work after releasing their previous album. [1]

The original Street Fighter film soundtrack was released on December 6, 1994, by Priority Records. That soundtrack featured several hip hop artists, including Ice Cube, MC Hammer, and Nas. [9]
