Craig David announces Australian tour dates for Born To Do It album

English singer Craig David has announced an Australian tour performing his debut album Born To Do It in full, accompanied by a full live band. Promoters MG Live and Frontier Touring are presenting the tour. Outlets report conflicting dates for the upcoming visit, with Sheldon Ang Media reporting a May tour next year, while Noise11, theMusic, Rolling Stone Australia, Scenestr, and The Note report the tour will take place in May 2027. The upcoming dates follow two performances at the Hammersmith Apollo in London earlier this year, where David performed the album from start to finish with his band. David stated that those shows inspired him to take the performance on a global tour for his fans. [1]

David rose to prominence in 1999 after featuring on the single Re-Rewind by Artful Dodger. His debut studio album, Born to Do It, was released in 2000 to major commercial success. He has since released eight further studio albums, including Slicker Than Your Average in 2002, Following My Intuition in 2016, 22 in 2022, and his 2025 release Commitment. [11]
