Canadian rock band Nickelback released their 11th studio album, Everything Under The Sun, on October 30, 2026, through record label Virgin Music Group. The new record features the single Rattle The Cage, which includes guitarist John 5, as well as tracks titled Leave Me Behind and Make Me Love You, according to Wikimetal. The publication stated that the material mixes heavy rock riffs with personal compositions touching on themes of freedom, redemption, and human connection. [1]

The album is co-produced by frontman Chad Kroeger alongside the band's longtime collaborator Chris Baseford. The Canadian group originally formed as a cover band named Village Idiot before relocating to Vancouver in 1996 to pursue original music. [9][11]

Nickelback previously achieved commercial success with albums such as Silver Side Up in 2001 and All the Right Reasons in 2005. The group has sold more than 63 million records worldwide over the course of their career. [11]
