Manic Street Preachers and Suede perform joint show at London O2

Manic Street Preachers and Suede performed a co-headlining concert at The O2 venue in London on 2026-11-06. NME reported that the performance formed part of a joint tour across the United Kingdom, which features an alternating running order between the two alternative rock bands. [1]

During the concert, Manic Street Preachers paid tribute to their former lyricist and rhythm guitarist Richey Edwards, according to NME. Co-headliners Suede used their slot to debut new music and address future plans. [1]

The 2026 tour represents a continuation of the working relationship between the two acts, who first toured together in 1994, NME reported. The bands subsequently embarked on a joint series of dates across North America in 2022, followed by a United Kingdom tour in 2024. [1]

Manic Street Preachers formed in Blackwood, Caerphilly, Wales, in 1986. Following events in 1995, the group continued operating as a three-piece line-up consisting of bassist Nicky Wire, vocalist and guitarist James Dean Bradfield, and drummer Sean Moore. [2][3]
