Singer Johnny Gill has reached the number one spot on the Billboard Adult R&B Airplay chart with his single A Dance, A Kiss, YouKnowIGotSoul.com reported. The release marks his second chart-topping hit of the year. The track is distributed globally across digital streaming platforms through his label, J Skillz Entertainment. [1]

Hip-hop artist Snoop Dogg produced the record alongside Priest Soopafly Brooks, according to YouKnowIGotSoul.com. Snoop Dogg was also one of the co-writers for the single. [1]

Gill joined the R&B and pop group New Edition in 1987. The group originally formed in 1978 in the Roxbury neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. Its original lineup featured Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins, Ronnie DeVoe, Bobby Brown, and Ralph Tresvant. [3]
