Foo Fighters have released a new allocation of seated tickets for their upcoming stadium performances in New Zealand, Scoop reported. Promoter Frontier Touring made new front and rear section seated tickets available for purchase starting at $149.95 through axs.com/nz. [1]
The band will perform two stadium concerts in January 2026 following runs across North America and Europe, according to Scoop. The tour opens at One New Zealand Stadium in Christchurch on Tuesday, 19 January 2026, before moving to the Western Springs Bowl in Auckland on Friday, 22 January 2026. Scoop reported that the shows will feature a marathon three-hour set. [1]
The American rock band was formed in Seattle in 1994 by former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl, initialising as a one-man project. Grohl selected the name from the World War II term used by Allied pilots for unidentified flying objects. The group's lineup currently includes Grohl, bassist Nate Mendel, guitarists Pat Smear and Chris Shiflett, keyboardist Rami Jaffee, and drummer Ilan Rubin. [3][4]
The Take Cover Tour was first announced on 23 October 2025 with initial dates set in North America, before expanding to include concerts across Europe, Oceania, and South America. [2]
