Musician Karl Kuehn released a new single titled Leslie under his solo moniker Gay Meat on October 7, 2026. Stereogum reported that the track was originally written for his debut album but did not make the final sequence. [1][2]

The release follows the debut Gay Meat album, Blue Water, which came out in April. Stereogum described the record as a project reflecting on passing time and impending grief. [1]

Kuehn is based in Wilmington, North Carolina, and was previously a member of the bands Museum Mouth and Family Bike. He is currently signed to the record label Skeletal Lightning. [3]

In addition to releasing the new single, Gay Meat is scheduled to go on tour with the band Imperial Teen in November, according to BroadwayWorld. [2]
