The desert-rock documentary Desert Age: A Rock and Roll Scene History is receiving a 10th anniversary re-release on November 20, 2026. Consequence reported that the film will first have a special premiere screening and question-and-answer session on Saturday, November 7, 2026, in Palm Springs, California. [1]

The project was initially funded through an IndieGogo campaign before its original release in 2016. Consequence reported that the documentary features performance footage along with interviews from notable rock musicians and groups, including Mario Lalli, Fu Manchu, and Black Flag. [1]

The documentary also highlights interviews and footage of Brant Bjork, Nick Oliveri, Jesse Hughes, and Kyuss.
